Cool Little App is a small site with a simple approach: we collect as little as we can, we don’t sell anything about you, and we don’t run ads.

If you just browse

• We count views of each app’s page and clicks on its “Open” or “Get” button. We store the app and the day, nothing about you.
• We count what people type into the search box, as phrases only, so we know which apps to add. Searches aren’t linked to you, and anything that looks like an email address or a long number is never stored.
• We use Vercel Analytics for overall visit numbers. It doesn’t use cookies or track you across sites.
• Your browser keeps a few preferences on your device: light or dark mode, grid or list, and any apps you save before signing in. They never leave your device unless you sign in.

If you create an account

• We store your email address so you can sign in with a code, and the apps you save.
• A sign-in cookie keeps you signed in. It isn’t used for anything else.
• You can delete your account at any time from your account page. That removes your email and saved apps for good.

If you submit an app

• We store the link, what you wrote, and your email if you gave one, to review the app and reply to you.
• We keep a one-way scrambled version of your IP address (not the address itself) to limit spam.
• We never show your email publicly or share it.

Who helps us run the site

• Vercel hosts the site.
• Supabase stores the database and sends sign-in emails.
• Cloudflare Turnstile checks that forms are used by people, not bots.

They process data only to provide those services to us.
